KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Education/Experience:
- Valid Class A CDL with TWIC, HAZMAT, and Tank Endorsement
- Minimum of 24 months commercial driving experience
- Knowledge of CFR DOT 195,199 regulations, FRA, AREMA as well as OSHA regulations
- No more than 2 major moving violations within a 3-year period
- No more than 2 accidents within a 3-year period
- DOT Drug Screening required
- No Felony convictions
- No DUI's/ DWI's within the last 7 years
- No positive or refused drug or alcohol tests
- Legally authorized to work in the US on a regular, full-time basis withoutrestrictions
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate
- 23 Years of age or older
Skills:
- Oral & written communication skills
- Must be able to speak, read and write in English in order to keep an accurate reports and DOT log entries, inspection reports, maintenance reports, and accident/incident reports
- Customer Service oriented
- Strong time-management skills – must be punctual and able to meet deadlines
- Proficient organizational skills
- Attentive to detail and able to maintain records per described requirements
- Dependability and Company loyalty required
- Ability to conduct all operations in a safe manner
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to perform repetitive motion activities throughout the day
- Requires getting into and out of the truck frequently
- Must be able to lift and/or move 75 lbs on a regular basis
- Must be able to work 10-12 hours per day, 5 days/week
- Drug and Alcohol screening required
